From awkward partner to awkward leaver? - Prof Kenner reacts to Brexit

In the wake of the UK’s historic referendum vote in favour of leaving the European Union Professor Jeff Kenner, Professor of European Law and HRLC Project Lead for the EU’s  FRAME Project, has laid out the current legal situation and sets out the following five options as potential ways in which the UK can move forward:

  • The single market option (Norway);
  • The free trade option (Canada);
  • The World Trade Organisation option;
  • Delaying withdrawal;
  • Leaving and re-joining.

For further information see Professor Kenner’s full presentation.
