Biography
Andrea graduated at the University of Milan with a thesis on semantic normativity and Kripkensten's paradox. Currently he is a Ph.D. Student working in the philosophy of language. He is supervised by Stefano Predelli and Mark Jago.

Andrea's main area of expertise is the philosophy of language, especially the semantics of quotation, intensional contexts, and proper names.
Teaching Summary
He has organised and taught a seminar on Kripkenstein's paradox of rule-following, at the University of Milan (together with Dr Andrea Guardo).
He has delivered several guest lectures on proper names, definite descriptions, empty singular terms, Kripke's puzzle about belief, and predicate logic.
In the first semester of Academic Year 2021-22 he is teaching seminars for the module "Mind, Knowledge, and Ethics".

Current Research
Andrea's project deals with meaning ascriptions, quotational phenomena, and the relation between the two. In particular, he is interested in the occurrence of 'red' in such sentences as 'The word 'rosso' in Italian means red'. He is also obsessed with proper names (especially when they happen to be empty), translation, and the debate on intentionality.
