Black Leadership in a White Church? A conversation with Bishop Rose of Dover

Join us for a conversation with Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin. We will ask: What is it like being a woman of colour in the Church of England? Is the Church a racist institution?

Bishop Rose is not only the first female bishop of African heritage in the Church of England, but she has also worked at the heart of the establishment as Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons.

Theology and Religious Studies student Francis Adam will lead our discussion.

This event will be held on MS Teams on Wednesday 6 October, 5-6pm. It is open to all staff and students at University of Nottingham and is part of the Black History Month programme.

Please join on the day via the MS Teams link here. Please remember to have your camera off and microphone muted on entering the event.
