Biography
Matt Davies is Manager of the Digital Transformations Hub (DTH) at the University of Nottingham providing access and support to Faculty of Arts staff and students who wish to use the digital equipment and software to enhance their research with digital content. He also provides advice and runs workshops on the creation, manipulation and use of digital images in teaching, research and on heritage projects.
Matt manages two paid postgraduate Research Associates who works in DTH two days a week and he annually recruits and mentors a team of student volunteers from the Faculty of Arts who work shifts in DTH where they learn digital and transferable skills and gain work experience. The volunteers also work on digital projects and events which Matt organizes and supervises in collaboration with academic staff and external partners.
