Professor Steve Hill

Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences

The School of Biomedical Sciences has a long history of hosting Early Career Research Fellowships from both the University and Research Council/Charity funding sources.  We have also hosted prestigious Fellowships from overseas. The School has developed a nurturing approach that allows each Fellow to develop their own scientific independence in a stimulating research environment. These fellowships allow the School to maintain its vibrant research and training capability and to keep its research at the cutting edge of its subject areas.  We have two University of Nottingham Early Career Fellows: Amos Fatokun moved to Nottingham in December 2010 from the NIH in Bethesda and has secured a prestigious EU Marie Curie Fellowship. Rachel Thomas has also started as an Anne McLaren Fellow in September 2011.
