Where I expect to be in 10 years

10 years today I see myself in healthcare. I would primarily like to work for the NHS. I would like to work for an NHS trust in a multicultural and multi-faith area as I feel it is these trusts which face the hardest decisions so that they are able to cater for all their patients. I would like to have had an impact on several of the administration processses that take place within the NHS and aim to make them more efficient, to maximise the number of patients being seen and to reduce the number of DNAs (patients who 'did not arrive').

However there are several things that I would like to achieve within the next 10 years. I would like to explore South and Central America and if my funds allow; parts of Asia and Africa. I have a Ukranian charity which is close to my heart and within the next 10 years I would like to raise awareness about them by holding charity fundraising events. Although I want to work for the NHS, if the opportunity arose which enabled me to use the knowledge and skills of my job I would love to experience the healthcare systems of other countries.
