Hugh Potter, Director of Potter Rees Dolan Solicitors, will discuss one of his leading cases: Wilkinson v Churchill [2010] All ER (D) 171 which concerned a high-speed, head-on collision and was heard twice in the Court of Appeal and in the European Court of Justice. In his lecture, Hugh will discuss details of the case which involved Churchill Insurance, key principles of the law of Tort, important arguments as to who should pay compensation and European Directives.

Potter Rees Dolan specialises in serious injury claims and, for almost thirty years, Hugh Potter has acted on behalf of clients with severe brain and spinal cord injuries achieving record settlements with a reputation recognised nationally.
