Students take first and second place in the Kevin De Silva Essay Competition!

Two second year students in the School of Law - Sam Hussaini and Jessica Allen - came first and second respectively in the Kevin De Silva Memorial Essay Competition.

The essays were to discuss the posed question, "Rape is rape - or is it?" and Sam will receive a prize of £250, as well as having his winning essay published in the Nottingham Law Journal.

Second prize is £150 cash, and both Sam and Jessica have been invited to a prize-giving presentation on Monday 27 April with the Nottinghamshire Law Society.
