Kayode Akintola wins the 2015 ILA Academic Forum Competition

We are pleased to announce that Kayode Akintola, PhD student in the School of Law, has been selected as winner of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association (ILA) Academic Forum 2015 competition. This is a prestigious event and research students from all over the UK and beyond are invited to submit an abstract of their research and proposed presentation.  Kayode’s entry was based upon his research exploring the impact that the law on the floating charge has on lending practices and corporate insolvency outcomes.

Kayode will present a paper at the ILA Annual Conference themed ‘UK Restructuring and Insolvency Law: Fit for the Future’. The conference will be held on 24 April 2015.
