Join the Black Literary and Creative Community (BLaCC)

The Black Literary and Creative Community (BLaCC) is a vibrant space designed for students of Black heritage who share a passion for literature and creativity.

Throughout the year, we plan to host various events, including quiz nights, poetry and creative writing workshops, and forums that encourage students to share their experiences and identify barriers within their courses. It's an excellent opportunity to build connections beyond the surface, bringing individuals together based on shared interests.

Join us for our first forum on 6 February, centred around the theme "Navigating Through An Undiverse Resource Pool." This event is pivotal in shaping the structure of BLaCC and its future events, addressing challenges in accessing diverse resources. Be prepared for engaging discussions, insightful perspectives, and a unique opportunity to connect with fellow students.

Date: Tuesday 6 February 2024
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Location: Screening Room (Lower Ground floor), Hallward Library, University Park
