Printing and IT

The Print Service uses Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) which offer printing, copying and scanning. You can release your print or copy job at any MFD across the University, including in library buildings.

Essentials

• You will need to activate your print account before you can use the Print Service or top up your print credit.
• Top up your print credit online at myprint.nottingham.ac.uk
• All University of Nottingham Libraries are cashless. Top up your credit online, where possible. 

• Computer rooms are available in libraries and across our campuses.
• Study spaces with PCs are available in our libraries. Drop-in or book spaces in advance using Click and Study. 
• Use the Windows Virtual Desktop service on your personal device to access a range of specialist software applications 24/7.
• Short stay PCs are available at Hallward, George Green, Djanogly LRC and Business libraries. You can use these for up to 30 minutes.

• Visit the laptop lockers or enquiries desk in selected libraries to borrow a laptop for up to three hours. You will need your University Card to borrow a laptop.
• This service is available at Business, Djanogly LRC, George Green, Greenfield Medical, Hallward and James Cameron-Gifford libraries. Laptops are for use in the library only.
• Please use the cleaning supplies provided to clean the laptops before and after use.
• Late returns of laptops will result in fines of £1 per hour.
