Linguistic Profiling for Professionals (LiPP) offers an opportunity for students to get involved in the day-to-day marketing of our business unit.

From drafting press releases to helping run our social media accounts, this exciting opportunity will to give you practical real-world work experience.

What did you learn during your time with the LiPP team?

During my placement as a Marketing Assistant at LiPP, I gained a great deal of practical experience in marketing and communications. I assisted the team in creating promotional campaigns for the business and conducting market research.

The detailed programme compiled by the Business Unit Administrator allowed me to learn how to use the email marketing service, MailChimp, as well as develop my knowledge of how social media can be used to raise brand awareness as part of a larger strategic plan.

The marketing aspect of my placement at LiPP has allowed me to think more broadly about my future career, as well as helping me to secure an internship in PR and social media.
