What you need to know
The Leadership and Management Academy offers:
- Development programmes – we run a variety of programmes to help leaders and managers boost their skills
- Learning and resources - anyone at the University can use our online resources, on any device. You can brush up on a subject or learn a new skill. Pick from a variety of areas including emotional intelligence, project management, managing change and many more
- Coaching and mentoring - coaching and mentoring is available to all our staff, across all job families and all levels. You can apply to be coached or mentored or register to become a coach or mentor via the LMA hub
- Induction support for leaders – if you’re in a new role or new to the University, we can get you ready for life as a leader or manager
- Career development support – we can help you identify the next step in your career, whether that is broadening your career horizons, or getting ready for your next promotion
- Personal and team development support - we support senior leaders on an individual basis, as well as supporting teams with away days, executive team development and strategy planning sessions
- Individual and team diagnostics - from individual 360° analysis, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment to cultural values assessments, we can support you to understand more about yourself and those around you
