Access to the Reading Room is by appointment-only. Please give us as much notice of your visit in advance as possible, but at least a minimum of two working days.
Material should be ordered in advance where possible. All documents for same-day viewing must be ordered before 4pm.
All material will need to be returned 15 minutes before closing.
If you only want to return a book or collect one using the Click and Collect service, you don’t need to make an appointment and can drop in any time during our opening hours.
