Business records Photograph of the wages office at the Chilprufe Manufacturing Co., Chilprufe Mills, Leicester, 1929

We actively collect archival material relating to the East Midlands, including records from local businesses and industries. These historical records are a valuable research resource for the people who worked in the business and their families, the communities around it, and for academic research into economic and industrial history.

A small selection of the records are displayed at the Business Library on Jubilee Campus.
