Title: Revisiting Quinn's Finite Total Homotopy TQFT.

Abstract: Quinn's Finite Total Homotopy TQFT is a TQFT that works in any dimension and that depends on the choice of a homotopy finite space B (e.g. B can be the classifying space of a finite group or a finite 2-group).  I will report on recent joint work with Tim Porter on extended versions of Quinn's Finite total homotopy TQFT, and how to calculate them for the case when B is the classifying space of a finite strict omega-groupoid.

This work was financed by the the Leverhulme trust research project grant: Emergent Physics From Lattice Models of Higher Gauge Theory

One hour talk, followed by informal discussion.

All are welcome. Please contact the seminar organizer to be added to the talk.
