Biography

I am a Media Relations Officer in the Press Office team where I primarily focus on enhancing and delivering media monitoring and evaluation services. I joined the University in August 2019, having previously worked in Cape Town, South Africa as a Senior Talent and Account Manager in the fashion and film industry. In recent years, I joined the LeftLion Magazine team as a section editor where I coordinate and produce engaging news stories about Nottingham in both digital and print media.

• Produce compelling coverage reports that highlight the success, reputation, and institutional value of our university.
• Provide support to extend the reach and impact of our news outputs across digital and social media channels, including supporting the central social media team on issues of reputational importance.
• Support in writing blogs, producing videos, and creating social media content to amplify news announcements and stories.
• Support for the distribution of news stories as well as enquiry handling for the Media Relations team.
