Under the Microscope August 2023 Winner

This month's Under the Microscope winning suggestion was...Lizard Scales submitted by Tabitha!

We delved into the microscopic realm of a gecko's toe to reveal the scales as well as the microscopic hairs that allow them to climb up almost any surface! Imaging was conducted by Tom Hartman and Alice Campain on the JEOL 6060 SEM.
