School of Pharmacy

Biomolecular Science and Medicinal Chemistry Division

We research gene regulation, molecular recognition, disease target identification and ultimately to the design of molecular probes and molecules with potential therapeutic applications.

We undertake pioneering research in biomedical sciences, aimed at understanding biological processes, and applied research in the areas of target identification, bioassay development and drug discovery.

We have expertise in molecular and cell biology, synthetic medicinal and computational chemistry, structural biology and bioscience.
