Biography

Peter received MPhys and MRes degrees in Theoretical Physics and Translational Quantum Technology from Durham University in 2018 and the University of Birmingham in 2020. Peter defended his PhD thesis, `Magnetic Field Design for Quantum Technologies', at the University of Nottingham in 2022. Peter is now an EPSRC Doctoral Prize fellow at the University of Nottingham whose research interests include magnetic field design, optimizing electromagnetic shielding, and next-generation quantum sensors.
