Biography
After completing an undergraduate MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Swansea University, Sean followed his interest in semiconductors and nanotechnology to further study a PhD in the area of Atomic Cluster and Nanoparticle Production, S/TEM Imaging, and Characterisation, also at Swansea University. Currently writing up his thesis, Sean obtained a postdoc position with Dr Neil Kemp and his research group focusing on Nanoparticle and Thin-film production for applications in Memristor and Electronic devices. He is still very much keen on also continuing his PhD work on Atomic Clusters for nano-structure based Applications.

Expertise Summary
My expertise surrounds vacuum systems and the area of Nanoparticle/Thin-film production through physical methods under high and ultra-high vacuum conditions, in addition to the S/TEM imaging and characterisation of nanostructures. I have a keen interest in investigating and linking such structures with real-world applications, particularly in the area of nano-electronics.
