Andreas Fulda on the Future of China's Civil Society

Andreas Fulda from the School of Politics and International Relations featured in last week's Asia Unbound podcast in conversation with Elizabeth Economy, Director for Asia studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, discussing the 'Future of China's Civil Society'.

In this podcast, Dr Fulda shares insights from more than ten years of capacity building work with and for Chinese civil society organisations (CSOs) and highlights key takeaways from his edited book Civil Society Contributions to Policy Innovation in the PR China (Palgrave Macmillan 2015).

Elizabeth praised Dr Fulda's publication, describing it as 'a terrific new book that I think sheds a very important light on some of the intricacies of civil society in China, but also just some of the broader trends in civil society and the opportunities for engagement with foreign actors'.
