The School of Politics and International Relations has a large and vibrant postgraduate community. It attracts students of a very high calibre, from the UK and overseas. Many of our staff are from other countries themselves, and all with considerable experience of working with students from different educational and cultural backgrounds.

The university offers an excellent support structure for international students, offering advice and support on a wide range of issues, including scholarships, funding, visas, accommodation, travel and health matters.
The university runs a Welcome programme prior to the start of the term in September each year. This gives international students a chance to meet fellow students and to settle in Nottingham prior to the start of their studies.
We have agents in many countries and representatives regularly visit higher education fairs and exhibitions all over the world. This offers an opportunity for potential students to meet staff from the university and to find out more about study opportunities.
