Dr Ping Wang gave a presentation on 'Promoting industrial, environment and social policies through government procurement in China and under the GPA' during the 'International Conference on Government Procurement Law - GPA and China'.
The conference was hosted by China North East University of Finance and Economics in Dalian, China and took place on 22 Aug. 2014. Conference participants include academics from UK, Taiwan, Mainland China as well as some Chinese procurement officials from local and central government.
A wide range of topics related to China’s GPA accession and procurement reform such as rationalisation of legal framework, remedy system, horizontal policies, development of international disciplines were discussed during the conference.
