Professor Harminder Dua's team shortlisted for 'Research Project of the Year' in Times Higher Education Awards 2014

The ground-breaking work of Professor Harminder Dua and his team has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Research Project of the Year’. Prof Dua’s discovery of a previously undetected layer in the human eye is helping surgeons to improve outcomes for patients undergoing corneal grafts and transplants.

The University of Nottingham has also been shortlisted in the category of "Outstanding International Student Strategy' in recognition of its work to encourage and welcome overseas students, including interactive online sessions with applicants and immigration surgeries given by a leading law firm.

The awards will be presented at an event in London on November 27th.
