Centre for Research in Race and Rights (C3R)

We believe in socially-engaged scholarship. We organise and participate in practitioner and public policy debates, collaborate with anti-racism, human rights and equality organisations on research and briefings, and provide consultation and evidence to policy-makers.

As part of our public educational mission, we also contribute to learning and outreach programmes and events for local communities, schools, volunteers, lifelong learners, and the general public. Our outreach activities drew 3600 people to events on campus and in the city during 2015.
