Description

The next general meeting of the Viking Society will take place on Friday 16 March 2012 at University College London.

Jonathan Grove (University of Cambridge) will give a lecture entitled

‘Ab aquilone pandetur malum super faciem uniuersae terrae: Ælfheah of Canterbury, Knud of Odense, and the commemoration of northern violence’

at 16.45 in the Gustave Tuck Lecture Theatre.

Tea will be served at 16.15 in the North Cloisters, Main Building, UCL.

Members may bring guests.
