A half-day research seminar on the Viking Age sculptured stones of the Isle of Man, with contributions by Michael Barnes ('The Manx runes and the supposed Jæren connection'), Terje Spurkland ('The Manx and Norwegian coastal connection'),  Judith Jesch ('With and without runes: modes of commemoration in the Irish Sea region in the Viking Age'), and 
Ross Trench-Jellicoe ('Location, location, location: some similarities of sculptural practice in Hadeland, Oppland and the Isle of Man). Download the poster here.
