This year's Viking Society Student Conference will focus on two exhibitions currently on at the University of Nottingham: Viking: Rediscover the Legend and Danelaw Saga: Bringing Vikings Back to the East Midlands. As well as papers by speakers including Lesley Abrams, Carolyne Larrington, Helen Leslie-Jacobsen and Brittany Schorn, there will be guided tours of the exhibitions, and creative writing workshops with James Aitcheson.

The conference is primarily aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students of Old Norse and Viking Studies, but others are welcome, subject to availability.

Download a provisional programme for the day. A link for online registration will be available very soon.
