Vikings in the East Midlands: Forging Relationships, Forming Identities

Date(s)
Tuesday 11th June 2019 (18:00-18:30)
Description
Midlands-Signpost

All are invited to the launch of a new exhibition prepared by students on the Research Methods module on the MA in Viking and Anglo-Saxon Studies.

The exhibition explores how Scandinavian settlers established themselves in the East Midlands while also maintaining a strong international outlook. The students selected a range of reproduction objects from domestic and public life which reveal the rich and diverse culture of the Scandinavians who settled here. For more details, please see the invitation.

Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

If you can't come to the launch, the exhibition will be on in the English corridor for some time, so do come along and see it.
