Congratulations to our Teaching Fellow and doctoral candidate Aya Van Renterghem who has been awarded a Peter Foote Bursary by the Viking Society for Northern Research. The bursary has supported Aya's research trip to Copenhagen where she is currently studying runic manuscripts in both the Arnamagnaean Institute and the Royal Library. She is also giving a talk on her research on the 16th September: North Versus West: The Battle of the Rune-Scribes.
