The inaugural meeting of the Five Boroughs Network took place in Nottingham on 4 June 2019. The network aims to promote the Viking Age history of the East Midlands in partnership with museum curators and educators, and other heritage professionals, based in what are known as the Five Boroughs of the Danelaw, that is the towns of Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Nottingham and Stamford, and their surrounding regions.

Further meetings and activities will be recorded on the 5Boroughs page  of the Vikings in the East Midlands website. Watch this space!
