Over the next six months or so the Centre for the Study of the Viking Age will be sponsoring a whole series of lectures, activity days and other events related to two exhibitions on at Lakeside Arts, University of Nottingham (Viking: Rediscover the Legend and Danelaw Saga: Bringing Vikings Back to the East Midlands). These events have been supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the University's Research Priority Area British Identities: Culture and Communication from the Archipelago to the Globe.
