DICE journal club launches!

The DICE research group has been keen to find ways of linking up with PhD students whose research falls within the remit of our themes. The idea of starting up a journal club was proposed at a recent team meeting, and we are pleased to announce that the first of these will commence on Thursday 6th April, 2-3pm, at B129 (Medical School, QMC).

The purpose of the journal club will be to encourage critical reflection on appropriate research papers, and exchange ideas about topical research issues, nurturing and enhancing key transferable skills. The first paper up for discussion is O'Sullivan and colleagues' recent investigation into the use of social media in Health Science education

We look forward to further evolving the journal club to manifest in different formats beyond face-to-face meetings. We will keep everyone posted as to how this develops!
