How we work with Industry
The food industry has a unique and essential role when it comes to innovating, producing and delivering the food needed to feed the world sustainably. The Food Systems Institute works collaboratively with businesses from all parts of the supply chain to help them pre-empt and solve challenges. The University of Nottingham is uniquely positioned to work with partners in business and industry to analyse food system challenges, identify system-wide solutions and develop new corporate practices that will benefit the environment, the economy and wider society.
The Food Systems Institute is committed to delivering solutions that can be applied at a practical level. We work with industry from across scales (micro enterprises through to multi-national corporations) and we incubate technology solutions within the university and, where appropriate, license these out for comme.
