Join the UoN Sport team as a student ambasador

Would you like to join our award-winning team and gain invaluable work experience during your time at University? 

University of Nottingham Sport are now recruiting for a wide range of student ambassador roles to support our ambitious vision for sport, health and wellbeing at the University. 

These part-time positions offer a fantastic opportunity to develop your workplace skills as well as gain real leadership experience. We're offering a variety of roles;

You could work with our Inclusive sport team to engage more students in our programmes, including working alongside our Wheelchair Basketball Officer and Sport Development Officer (Black students), promote our popular Just Play programme or get involved with the Moves+ app or Rugby Minds campaign. You can also be involved in shaping and delivering the activity within our Leadership Academy. 

All our participation ambassadors will be tasked with shaping delivery and communication, engaging with students, supporting event delivery, collating and analysing data and producing content for our marketing channels alongside our Marketing team. 

For those looking at marketing roles after University, our brand ambassadors will shape and deliver marketing campaigns, create content for our social media channels and be a key part of delivering events such as the Headliner, BUCS Big Wednesday and Varsity.

All ambassadors will be supported by our professional staff team and work alongside the network of student ambassadors, plus other student volunteers engaged with our programmes. 

With flexible work programmes and the option to work virtually, the roles are ideal for combining with your studies. You'll be supported by our professional staff team and work alongside the network of student ambassadors, plus other student volunteers engaged with our programmes. 

A passion for sport, fitness and wellbeing is essential as well as ideally some experience (voluntary or paid) relevant to your chosen role.

Please note, these positions are open to current University of Nottingham students only. You must be studying at the University for the 2023/24 academic year as a minimum.
