Not attending?
There are many reasons why you may choose not to or be unable to attend a graduation ceremony.
If you are not planning or unable to attend your graduation ceremony, you can either:
- graduate in absentia and receive your certificate and transcripts in the post and online following your graduation
- defer your graduation until a later date
You will need to let us know how you would like to graduate by completing registration. You will receive an email to your university email address inviting you to register. You will then be able to log in to NottinghamHub and select the graduation tile. Registration will open on 23 April and close on 7 June 2024.

There is also an option for students in certain specific circumstances and courses to graduate earlier via an Inter-ceremony graduation.
