Student exchange and study abroad

Many courses offer opportunities to spend part of your degree abroad, from studying in China and Malaysia to Australia and USA.

We'll be able to help you with information about costs, opportunities and finding the right option for you.

If you have to spend time abroad as part of your course you need to look at information on Compulsary Study Abroad or Compulsory placements.

What you need to know

You can organise your study abroad through our

  • Intercampus Exchange Scheme where you can study at our campuses in China or Malaysia
  • Erasmus programme, which links us with a wide range of European universities
  • University-wide exchange scheme with our partner universities around the world
  • School bilateral Study Abroad programmes, where Schools have developed subject specific links for their students

Before talking to our team, make sure you look through the opportunities available in your subject area and bring details of any mandatory courses in your degree.

You can also email or visit our Facebook or Twitter pages to see the wide range of opportunities we offer and how they've benefitted students.
