The Disability Support team provides guidance to students who consider themselves to be disabled or who have long-term medical conditions. We are available to meet by appointment with you in Cherry Tree Lodge on University Park, The Exchange Building on Jubilee and in A14, off the Guild Room, in the Barn at Sutton Bonington, as well as being available to meet students at other locations by arrangement.
Dr Lisa Rüll - a Study Support Tutor based in Academic Support who has extensive experience of supporting disabled students to develop their study strategies - is now providing appointments for disabled students. These sessions could cover issues such as reading strategies, revision techniques, preparation and planning for writing, and time management.
How to access a session
Disabled students already in contact with Disability Advisers will be able to discuss a referral to meet with Lisa.
When will sessions be available?
Appointments are available with Lisa on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in Cherry Tree Lodge, University Park. On Thursdays she is available at Jubilee in The Exchange Building. There will also be visits scheduled to the Graduate Centres.
