Undergraduate

Students on the International Media and Communications Studies BA

Tell us what language you would like to take.

Your course includes studying a language. This language is compulsory in year 1 and 2, and optional in your final year. You must take the same language throughout the course.

You can choose from nine different European and Asian languages at a range of levels, depending on your previous experience.

If you want to discuss your options before submitting your language choice, the Language Centre have organised an informal online drop-in session where you can talk to staff and find out more about language study and the options available.

Once you have decided which language you wish to take, please complete the language choice form below so we can get this added to your record before you start. The deadline for submitting your choice is Sunday 17 September.

All other undergraduate students

As you do not have a language as part of your degree, you do not need to do this.
