Introduction to the University libraries

Knowing how to use the library and what services and facilities are available can help you prepare for your academic work.

The University has multiple libraries, across several campuses. Find out which library is relevant to your studies.

You will also find a range of facilities available in all of the libraries, together with details of how to access the libraries if you are a disabled user.

Once you have found the relevant library, you will need to know how to borrow books, reserve books that are out on loan and return books.

The libraries will also provide you with IT facilities including computer rooms.

A lot of information is now available electronically, as well as print, and details on how to access material online, both on and off-campus is available.

Don’t worry if you can’t find what you want, there are helpful staff within all libraries to answer your questions.
