The University has recently renewed its membership of The Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) - a not-for-profit charity supporting sustainability in universities and colleges. EAUC aims to inspire, promote and support change towards best practice sustainability within the operations, curriculum and research of the UK tertiary education sector through providing training, advice and support.

All University of Nottingham staff and students are able to benefit from this membership, with access to resources, unrivaled knowledge, developmental and networking opportunities.

The EAUC has a comprehensive website with a wealth of information, including a member zone, resource bank and latest news.

EAUC membership also includes access to a number of online communities. Made up of colleagues from across the further and higher education sector, staff can subscribe to the main EAUC community group and/or to specific areas of interest such as transport, positive behaviour change and green IT. By joining these communities, staff can access the wealth of experience and knowledge of over 1,000 colleagues from across the further and higher education sector by simply sending an email.

To take advantage of our existing membership, create a free EAUC account by registering on the EAUC subscription page using your institutional email address – simply select “The University of Nottingham” in the drop-down box. You will then have access to all member-only resources, discounts and services!

For more information on EAUC and the services they provide, visit www.eauc.org.uk, follow EAUC on twitter or like their facebook page
