Getting here and around campus

Traveling to University Park is easy. Find out more about how to get here by car, bus and tram.

Shuttle buses

For one day only Nottingham Community Transport are letting us use their new electric shuttle buses to transport visitors around campus. A continuous service will run from 10.30am – 5pm, and the bus stops are marked on the event map.

Accessibility bus

If you have mobility issues a bus will be on hand to transport you around the campus should you need it. Please speak to a steward helper on the day who will be able to call the bus for you.


Car parks are available on campus and it's free to park.

Shops and ATMs

There are several shops (Boots and the Students’ Union shop) on campus, you can find them in the Portland Building, on B floor. ATMs are available outside Santander and NatWest at the back of Portland Building (the banks themselves are not open). 

Lost property

If you discover any lost property at Wonder please hand it in to the nearest steward or staff member. There is a stand in every zone where lost property will be held, these will be in the Chemistry foyer, David Ross Sports Village foyer, Sir Clive Granger corridor, Hallward library level 1 and Pharmacy Building foyer. If you realise you have lost something at Wonder after the event please contact wonderteam@nottingham.ac.uk and we will try and help.

Lost children

If you come across a child who says they are lost or if you lose your child please alert the nearest steward or staff member near to you who will help. 

Fire alarms

All buildings have fire alarms and fire detection systems. If you hear a continuous siren/bell, evacuate by the nearest exit. University staff will take control and call the emergency services if necessary. 

First aid

Paramedics will be patrolling the campus throughout the day. There will also be a first-aider located in every building. If you need to seek first aid speak to a member of staff who will be able to assist or call for help.
