Philosophy staff received Dearing Awards

Description
The School of Humanities congratulates Dr Andy Fisher and Dr Jonathan Tallant who have both received Dearing Awards. There is much competition for these and only twenty are awarded for the whole University each year.

Call for Papers - Challenging Musical Ontologies

Description
This RMA Study Day seeks to engage with conflicting yet complimentary dialogues regarding the possibility (or even non-possibility) of an ontology of music. Proposals are welcomed of up to 250 words for 20 minute papers on a range of topics. Deadline for submission 30 August 2012.
