On May 24th 2001 a group of art & design students from Valenciennes in Northern France visited KIAD, Canterbury. During their visit they were asked to participate in 'Mapping Change'. They were taken to Margate and given a map of the town with seven different locations marked on it. Each student was taken to one of the locations and asked to find their way to a central location, Hawley Square, and to record their journey as they walked with a disposable camera.
