Portugal Coastal Dunes: Fieldwork 2006

North Atlantic Oscillation impacts on sand drift 

The following photos were taken on a sampling trip to Portugal in July 2006. I was ably assisted in undertaking this fieldwork by my colleagues, Ian Conway & Teresa Needham. On returning to the UK it took several weeks for Ian's ant bites to diminish and about the same time for me to get pine resin out of my hair!
