WORKER - Without a subpetiolar spine or propodeal spines.

Some indication of its characteristics can be found in the description by Emery (1893c) of Cr. (Cr.) alluaudi from the Canary Islands (collected by C. Alluaud). Mesonotum convex both anteriorly and posteriorly, with angular sides but no spines or teeth; with an obtuse and strongly rounded angle between the dorsum and declivity of the propodeum. Petiole truncated anteriorly. Lacking pronounced pubescence. Emery noted it was known from Algeria, Egypt, Sinai, Syria and with a race ("sevelli" Forel, now species Crematogaster sewelli from Madagascar.
