Suggested project report structure

Structuring the project write-up requires using some initiative and common sense (as the project topic varies form student to student) but I suggest a format as follows:

(i) An introduction giving some background to the project (include a number of references) and why it's important from a physics/ maths perspective;

(ii) Details of any relevant theory

(iii) A brief section on code development - you may find a rudimentary 'flow diagram' useful here. (That is, use a simple sketch to illustrate how the various parts of your program work together).

(iv) A 'Results and Discussion' section

(v) Conclusions.
