Biography
I obtained my undergraduate degree (MChem Chemistry with Professional Practice) from Nottingham Trent University in 2017. After working at contract research organizations in the pharmaceutical and agricultural science industry as an analyst, I began a PhD at Nottingham Trent University. My thesis focused on the development of a novel ambient ionization source for mass spectrometry which could perform encoded internal mass recalibration. After finishing my PhD, I moved to the University of Nottingham in 2022.

Current Research
Working with Professor Neil Oldham, my work focuses on the application of a novel protein footprinting technique to commercial samples. The technique uses a diazirine label to map non-covalent protein-ligand and protein-protein interaction sites, analyzed by LC-MS/MS.
