Teaching Associate in Physical Chemistry, Faculty of Science
Suchanuch (Nikita) joined the University of Nottingham in May 2022 as a Teaching Associate in Physical Chemistry. Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Mahidol University before working as a research and teaching assistant at the same institution. Nikita then moved to the UK to pursue a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at Loughborough University, followed by a PhD in Physical Chemistry. Her PhD thesis was a multidisciplinary seminal work on "Emulsion Droplets as Reactors for Assembling Nanoparticles". Nikita's expertise and experience extend beyond academia. In 2019, Nikita started working as a research scientist at Zinergy UK Ltd. in Cambridge, where she led an Innovate UK project (FLEXIBAT) to design, fabricate, and characterize flexible zinc-carbon batteries for wearable devices. She also taught Chemistry part-time at Bell Cambridge during this period.
